Callaway has always produced high performance irons and 2022 continues the tradition with the introduction of the Rogue ST iron line up. This year Callaway is going all out on speed and forgiveness without sacrificing playability. The new Rogue ST Iron line features four different models: Rogue ST Max, Rogue ST Max OS, Rogue ST Max OS Lite, and the Rogue ST Pro, all built to fit a wide variety of golfers.

New technology for 2022 includes:

More Ball Speed from the all-new High Strength 450 A.I. Designed Flash Face Cup

An industry-first, they combined high strength 450 steel with A.I. designed Flash Face Cup. This delivers more ball speed and better ball speed consistency.

New A.I. Face Optimization for Speed, Launch and Spin

New A.I. Face Optimization is now applied to all the new Rogue ST iron models. It’s unique for each model and loft to create spin rate consistency across the face. It creates high launch and COR plus a more controlled landing angle to help hold greens.

Patented Urethane Microspheres for Pure Feel

Their patented urethane microspheres are now pushed further up the face in Rogue ST irons (up to the sixth groove) to enhance sound and deliver pure feel while maintaining fast ball speeds.

Now let’s take a deeper dive into each of the irons:

In each test, standard 7-iron specs were used to measure ball speed, smash factor, launch angle, spin rate, carry yardage, total yardage, launch direction and height.

My Takeaway

Callaway does it again. Bringing to the table some pretty incredible irons. With these four irons golfers of all skills and handicaps will be able to find what they are looking for.
