Great Golf and Great Music Highlight the Ally Challenge in August

The 2026 Ally Challenge at Warwick Hills in Grand Blanc will be the 9th edition of the popular PGA Tour Champions tournament, running the last week of August. It’s become a true Michigan golf staple to end the summer before school starts.

The 54-hole event for the 78 qualifiers will play for a purse of $2.2 million. Last year the tournament proceeds for charity reached almost $1.3 million, and all total in eight events, the amount for local charities has surpassed $9.6 million.

Country music superstar and singer-songwriter Keith Urban will headline the ninth annual Ally Community Concert. The four-time Grammy Award winner will take the stage on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Warwick Hills. The concert is included in the price of a tournament grounds pass for the day.

The Wildflowers, the top Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers tribute band, will perform Friday evening, August 28, following the first round at the famed 17th hole.

Pro Stewart Cink is the two-time defending champion. Volunteers are needed as well. More info at: https://theallychallenge.com/
